Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to HealthBridge

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the website, information, facilities and services offered by HealthBridge by TradeAxis Global Ventures (“HealthBridge”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, providing medical documents, requesting hospital coordination, booking patient-support services, requesting tourism services or otherwise engaging HealthBridge, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Please read them carefully before using our services.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the relevant services.

2. ABOUT HEALTHBRIDGE

HealthBridge by TradeAxis Global Ventures is a Bangladesh-based medical tourism and international patient facilitation service.

We help coordinate communication and practical arrangements between patients and independent hospitals, healthcare professionals and related service providers in destinations including:

Thailand • China • Turkey • Singapore

Our services may include hospital enquiries, medical-document coordination, specialist appointments, treatment-information coordination, medical travel assistance, accommodation, transportation, follow-up coordination, health and wellness enquiries, and tourism-related arrangements.

3. HEALTHBRIDGE IS NOT A HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

An Important Distinction

HealthBridge is not a hospital, clinic, medical practice or emergency medical service.

HealthBridge does not independently:

  • diagnose medical conditions;
  • prescribe medicines;
  • determine treatment;
  • perform medical procedures;
  • interpret medical tests as a treating physician;
  • provide clinical opinions;
  • determine whether a patient is medically fit to travel; or
  • guarantee any medical result.

All diagnosis, medical assessment, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, procedures and clinical decisions are made by the relevant qualified healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions.

Using HealthBridge does not create a doctor-patient relationship between the patient and HealthBridge.

4. OUR ROLE

International Patient Coordination

Depending on the service requested, HealthBridge may assist with:

Medical report coordination
Partner hospital enquiries
Doctor or specialist appointment requests
Second-opinion coordination
Treatment information communication
Preliminary hospital quotation coordination
Medical visa-related assistance
Travel and accommodation coordination
Airport and local transportation arrangements
Interpreter coordination where available
Health checkup and wellness enquiries
Tourism arrangements
Post-treatment hospital communication

The exact services available may differ depending on the patient, hospital, destination and circumstances.

5. PARTNER HOSPITALS & HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

The hospitals, doctors and healthcare professionals accessible through HealthBridge remain responsible for their own clinical services, medical decisions, facilities, staff, appointments and treatment.

Hospital information displayed on our website may include information relating to specialties, technology, facilities, bed capacity, emergency support or international-patient services.

We aim to keep such information reasonably current, but hospital services and facilities may change.

Patients should therefore confirm material information before making final treatment or travel decisions.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, HealthBridge does not control the independent professional judgment of any doctor or healthcare institution.

6. MEDICAL ENQUIRIES & DOCUMENTS

Patients may be asked to provide information such as:

  • medical reports;
  • prescriptions;
  • laboratory results;
  • pathology or biopsy reports;
  • imaging reports;
  • discharge summaries;
  • previous treatment records; and
  • relevant medical history.

Patients are responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete and relevant to the best of their knowledge.

Incomplete, inaccurate or outdated medical information may affect a hospital's ability to properly review an enquiry.

HealthBridge does not alter the clinical contents of medical records submitted by patients.

7. PASSPORT / NID & IDENTITY VERIFICATION

HealthBridge may request a Passport or National ID (NID) copy where reasonably necessary to:

  • verify patient identity;
  • match identity with submitted medical reports;
  • support hospital registration;
  • coordinate medical appointments;
  • prepare relevant medical-travel documentation; or
  • fulfil other legitimate patient-service requirements.

Identity and medical information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements. Bangladesh currently lists the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 within its official ICT legal framework.

Patients should not intentionally submit false, altered or misleading identification documents.

8. MEDICAL OPINIONS & TREATMENT PLANS

Any medical opinion, proposed treatment plan or recommendation communicated through HealthBridge originates from the relevant hospital or medical professional unless expressly identified otherwise.

A preliminary assessment based on uploaded reports may change after:

Physical examination • Additional investigations • New test results • Specialist consultation • Changes in the patient's condition

A hospital's initial response should therefore not automatically be treated as a final diagnosis or final treatment plan.

9. TREATMENT COST ESTIMATES

Any treatment cost or quotation provided before admission should generally be treated as an estimate unless the hospital expressly confirms otherwise.

Final treatment costs may change because of factors such as:

  • additional investigations;
  • changes in diagnosis;
  • treatment complexity;
  • additional procedures;
  • medicines or medical supplies;
  • duration of hospitalization;
  • ICU or critical-care requirements;
  • room category;
  • complications;
  • additional specialist consultations; or
  • other services required during treatment.

HealthBridge does not independently control hospital pricing.

Any HealthBridge service charge payable directly by the patient should be communicated separately where applicable.

10. APPOINTMENTS & HOSPITAL ACCEPTANCE

Submitting a Medical Inquiry Form or medical reports to HealthBridge does not automatically confirm:

Hospital acceptance
Doctor availability
Appointment confirmation
Treatment eligibility
Admission
Treatment date

An appointment or admission should be considered confirmed only after appropriate confirmation has been received from the relevant hospital or through HealthBridge acting on the hospital communication.

Hospitals may change appointments because of clinical priorities, doctor schedules or other circumstances.

11. MEDICAL VISA & IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE

HealthBridge may assist patients with medical-travel documentation and visa-related coordination where such assistance is available.

However:

HealthBridge does not issue visas.

Visa approval, entry permission, immigration clearance and permitted duration of stay are determined by the relevant embassy, consulate, immigration authority or government agency.

Accordingly, HealthBridge cannot guarantee:

  • visa approval;
  • processing time;
  • immigration entry;
  • extension of stay; or
  • any government decision.

Patients remain responsible for complying with applicable passport, visa and immigration requirements.

12. TRAVEL, FLIGHTS & ACCOMMODATION

Where requested, HealthBridge may help coordinate:

Flights • Hotels • Serviced accommodation • Airport transfers • Local transportation • Other travel arrangements

Some of these services may be supplied by independent airlines, hotels, transport operators or other third-party providers.

Their own terms, cancellation rules, availability requirements and service conditions may therefore apply.

Flight schedules, hotel availability and transportation arrangements can change for reasons outside HealthBridge's reasonable control.

13. TOURISM PACKAGES

HealthBridge may provide or coordinate tourism packages in destinations including Thailand, China, Turkey and Singapore.

Packages may include selected:

Accommodation • Airport transfers • Local transportation • Sightseeing • Attractions • Guided activities • Customized itineraries

Package inclusions, exclusions, duration, availability and prices will be communicated according to the particular booking.

Medical Travellers

Tourism is a separate service from healthcare.

Patients undergoing medical treatment should participate in tourism, sightseeing or recreational activities only when appropriate for their physical condition and consistent with advice from their treating healthcare professionals.

HealthBridge is not responsible for a patient's decision to undertake activities contrary to medical advice.

14. PRICES, PAYMENTS & THIRD-PARTY CHARGES

Before making payment, patients should review:

The service being purchased
The amount payable
Who is receiving the payment
Applicable inclusions and exclusions
Cancellation/refund conditions

Hospital charges, airline fares, hotel fees, transport costs, visa-related costs and other third-party charges may be payable directly to the relevant provider or according to specific payment instructions.

HealthBridge will not knowingly represent a third-party estimate as a guaranteed final cost.

Bangladesh's Consumers’ Right Protection Act, 2009 contains provisions relating to the delivery of promised goods and services in exchange for payment, so service descriptions and payment terms should be presented clearly to consumers.

15. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on:

  • the particular service;
  • when cancellation occurs;
  • whether a booking has already been confirmed;
  • payments already made to hospitals or third parties;
  • non-refundable visa, airline, hotel or transport charges; and
  • the cancellation policy of the relevant service provider.

Where HealthBridge receives a direct service payment, the applicable cancellation or refund conditions should be communicated before confirmation wherever reasonably practicable.

Where payment has already been transferred to an independent hospital, airline, hotel or other provider, the relevant provider's refund policy may apply.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Patients and persons acting on their behalf agree to:

Provide accurate information
Provide truthful and reasonably complete medical and personal information.

Follow medical advice
Discuss medical decisions directly with qualified healthcare professionals.

Review documentation
Check names, dates, passport information, appointments and travel arrangements before confirmation.

Attend appointments
Arrive according to hospital instructions and appointment schedules.

Follow travel requirements
Maintain valid passports, visas and other required travel documentation.

Disclose relevant medical information
Inform the healthcare provider of significant conditions, allergies, medications and relevant history.

Make independent decisions
Consider hospital information, professional medical advice and personal circumstances before proceeding.

17. SERVICES FOR MINORS

Where a patient is a minor, enquiries and consent should be submitted by a parent, legal guardian or appropriately authorized representative.

HealthBridge may request documentation or information reasonably necessary to establish the representative's authority.

18. EMERGENCIES

This Website Is Not an Emergency Service

HealthBridge's website, enquiry form, email and routine WhatsApp communication should not be relied upon for medical emergencies.

A person experiencing an urgent or potentially life-threatening medical situation should seek immediate assistance from an appropriate local emergency service, emergency department or qualified healthcare professional.

A message sent to HealthBridge does not guarantee an immediate response.

19. WEBSITE & HEALTH INFORMATION

Information on the HealthBridge website is provided for:

General information • Patient education • Service navigation • Medical travel coordination

It is not intended to replace professional medical advice.

We seek to provide accurate and useful information, but healthcare information, hospital services, technologies, doctors, regulations, visa requirements, prices and travel conditions can change.

Users should verify time-sensitive information before acting upon it.

20. PATIENT STORIES & TESTIMONIALS

Patient stories and testimonials represent the experiences of individual patients.

They should not be interpreted as:

  • a prediction of another patient's experience;
  • a guarantee of treatment success;
  • evidence that a particular treatment is appropriate for every patient; or
  • professional medical advice.

Identifiable patient stories, photographs or medical information should be published only with appropriate authorization.

21. PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA

Our collection and handling of personal information, medical documents, Passport/NID copies and website information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By submitting information to HealthBridge, you acknowledge that relevant information may need to be shared with selected overseas hospitals, healthcare professionals or service providers for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy before submitting sensitive information.

22. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & WEBSITES

Our website or services may involve third parties, including:

Hospitals • Doctors • Airlines • Hotels • Transport providers • Visa-related service providers • Tourism suppliers • Technology providers

These organizations may operate independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.

HealthBridge is not responsible for the content or independent practices of external websites merely because a link is provided from our website.

23. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise indicated, HealthBridge's original website content, branding, layouts, written materials, graphics and other proprietary materials may not be reproduced, republished, commercially distributed or misrepresented without appropriate authorization.

Hospital logos, trademarks and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used subject to applicable permissions or arrangements.

24. ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE

Users must not knowingly:

  • submit fraudulent information;
  • upload malicious files;
  • impersonate another person;
  • misuse patient information;
  • attempt unauthorized access to website systems;
  • interfere with website security;
  • use website content unlawfully; or
  • use HealthBridge services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access or decline to process an enquiry where there is reasonable evidence of misuse, fraud or unlawful activity.

25. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, HealthBridge is responsible for its own facilitation and coordination services but does not guarantee acts, omissions or outcomes controlled independently by hospitals, doctors, embassies, immigration authorities, airlines, hotels, transport operators or other third parties.

In particular, HealthBridge does not guarantee:

Medical outcomes
Treatment success
Hospital acceptance
Doctor availability
Final treatment cost
Visa approval
Immigration entry
Flight schedules
Third-party availability

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections.

26. EVENTS BEYOND REASONABLE CONTROL

HealthBridge will not be responsible for delays or disruption caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, which may include:

Natural disasters • Epidemics or public-health emergencies • War or civil disturbance • Government restrictions • Border closures • Airline disruption • Strikes • Communication failures • Major cyber incidents • Hospital emergencies

Where possible, we will make reasonable efforts to assist affected patients with alternative coordination.

27. CHANGES TO SERVICES

HealthBridge may introduce, modify or discontinue website features or services as the business and international hospital network develop.

Partner hospitals, medical specialties, destinations, travel services and tourism offerings may also change over time.

Where a confirmed paid service is materially affected, the rights and obligations relating to that booking will be considered according to the applicable agreement, provider terms and law.

28. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in:

  • our services;
  • website functionality;
  • hospital arrangements;
  • business practices; or
  • applicable legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this website with an updated Last Updated date.

Material changes will apply prospectively to the extent required by applicable law.

29. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Bangladesh, subject to any mandatory laws or rights that may apply to a particular transaction.

Bangladesh's Contract Act recognizes agreements made with free consent by parties competent to contract and for lawful consideration, among other requirements.

If a dispute arises, we encourage the parties to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith communication.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be referred to the appropriate court or authority of competent jurisdiction in Bangladesh, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in this section is intended to prevent a consumer from exercising any right available under mandatory consumer-protection law. Bangladesh's Consumers’ Right Protection Act, 2009 remains part of the country's consumer-protection framework.

30. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found by a competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions should continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

31. ENTIRE WEBSITE TERMS

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific written quotation, booking confirmation, service agreement or third-party terms applicable to a particular transaction, form the relevant terms governing the use of HealthBridge's website and services.

Where specific written terms are provided for a particular paid service, those specific terms may take priority for that service where clearly stated.
